Mission

The mission of the Department of Religious Education (DRE) is to connect you to Christ, His Church, and his grace. By serving the local, metropolis/district, and national levels of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America through resources, programs, services, and publications to advance religious education — for all ages.

The DRE is more than traditional education, more than books, more than online shopping, more than competitions. We exist to guide people in how to practically live Orthodoxy day-to-day instead of just being able to talk about it theoretically. That is what our DRE Team are humbly and prayerfully working on so you can “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).
